I was going to post the complete playlist for the previous round of Jet Lag after they finished it, rather than posting episode by episode. But the last episode of the race genuinely pissed me off so much that I decided not to. I really dislike gambling, and especially glorification of gambling on a platform like YouTube where minors are likely watching. So to see Sam gamble everything away in the casino at the end was so goddamn disappointing. It also made for an incredibly anticlimactic ending given all the time, effort, and money it took to get to Singapore in the first place.
So here's hoping they don't do something equally as stupid this time otherwise I will probably unsubscribe from Jet Lag, despite having enjoyed the previous Connect 4 game, and being a big fan of Sam/Wendover. :(

Seems difficult to find a hotel where the cheapest stay is over $500, but it would be easier if asking for a suite, apartment or multi person room in general. The underestimation at Calais was...

The underestimation at Calais was funny too. I suspect our small towns and suburbs are denser than you might see in most of the US. You can pack a lot of people in those french four story buildings...

And now that it's Sam's turn, even though he has a ton of money, I wonder if his gamble of starting the next day in the same station as Adam & Ben is a mistake too. I also love the fact that they managed to get ahead of Sam and predict his route, so he had absolutely no idea that they had him trapped. I also wonder how screwed Adam really is now though, since I assumed Sam might be screwed at the start of the episode too... but I totally forgot about the various powerups they can buy. Hopefully Adam has enough coins to buy one so he can at least get off the train.
