Did Vikings find their way to a remote part of Oklahoma? Some in a small community believe so, thanks to controversial runic carvings found in the area.

    The hard part is crossing the Atlantic. There was already plenty of evidence they had done that. I'd say findings like this are rarer inland because of how much more surface area there is to cover...

    I'd say findings like this are rarer inland because of how much more surface area there is to cover relative to coastal areas, and that the people of the world were far more mobile than most would assume.
