This is an excellent point. We must preserve the memories of those who experienced these wars so generations in the future will know not to repeat them. I can say proudly that the diary of Anne Frank was read in my seventh grade class. The US Holocaust Museum has a Memory Project that seeks to preserve the experiences of those who faced the holocaust.

We must ensure that current and future generations know what it was like during these extreme times of war, and know how naive it would be to repeat them. Even film can help: I'm not talking about Avenger's Infinity War here, but Full Metal Jacket and Gallipoli.
