Isolation or quarantine is a great time to prioritize your mental and physical well-being, but if you also want to use it to be productive, you have plenty of historical role models to choose from.

I'm glad the article starts out with this. My feelings in a tweet.

I mean, if you want to be productive for good and help others in this time of crisis, absolutely. But productivity in terms of "get work done to produce value for other people" ...ehhhhhhh, maybe just... shhh... shhhhhh.

    (edit: <3 to you too!!)

Everyone has a list of things that makes them say, "I'm going to get to this when I have time." Now you have time. What are y'all working on?

I also told a friend that I'm going to record an album this weekend and asked him to hold me to that goal. So, I guess I'll do that. Have 90% of an opening tune and 70% of a song, so far. 🎸🏄

I'm studying Bushcraft 101 and The Survival Doctor's Guide to Wounds this weekend, among other things. For those who want to learn about prepping, I recommend giving this Worst Year Ever podcast a listen. Robert Evans vaguely goes over prepping in the It Could Happen Here limited series, but in said specific podcast he calls out actionable guides, skills and items—most of which you can find in the description. For those who think prepping is for crazy people, it's not. The most important thing is being reasonably prepared to form and contribute to a trusting community if and when there's a bleak backdrop.
