While I don't need such services and never will, the importance of places like Scarlet's shop can't be overstated, especially in rural places where discrimination against people part of the LGBT+ group are still alive and socially often accepted (if only behind closed doors and in "good company"). It's a good article and nice little window into the lives of people who are different than the majority in ways that are hard to imagine.
