Seems like a just ruling. The fundamental argument of the plaintiff, that they have a first amendment right to insult or verbally harass their students and that the university can’t prevent them from verbally harassing their students is both despicable and bizarre.

Here’s hoping Ms Doe encounters fewer such assholes in the future.

Free speech is just the excuse these fucks hide behind so they can abuse us and hide from repercussions. At least all of us trans people are honest about ourselves.

Seems pretty similar to the Maya Forstater case, except slightly less deceptive on the plaintiff's side. I hope this is going to put more of a damper on the idea of appealing to Free Speech in...

Even when not directed against members of marginalised groups the defence shouldn't work, frankly. If, hypothetically, I held a genuine but pointless belief that Fake McPerson sucks and is a loser, and make a point of telling this to his face as much as possible to a degree that it adversely affects their health then the law shouldn't be on my side. That's not guaranteeing freedom, that's letting me take away somebody else's freedom to live their life in good conditions.
