      Thanks for posting your thoughts on it. I agree that the article didn't get into any significant depth on anything, but (as someone that knows almost nothing about these topics) I found it interesting as a quick overview of some of the topics like why people would make their own ammo, some of the materials involved, some coverage of the legalities and other concerns, and so on.

      I think the title is probably overselling it a bit, it's more of a quick look from outside "the world of DIY ammunition" than much insight into the inside of it.

      I don't know, maybe it had less impact for you because you are already aware of this world of DIY gunsmiths. The only contact I've had was the 3D printed stuff so all this was very much news to me...

      The only contact I've had was the 3D printed stuff so all this was very much news to me and made for an interesting read. The article portrayed it fairly well, I can see the draw for the hobby even though I've never even held a gun.

      Just finding out about this whole community, really puts into perspective some of the alarmist headlines regarding the 3D printed guns.
