    In theory I love the idea of not having a national ID, so that technically the government has less information and power over me in theory. But by this point it doesn't really matter, they already...

    In theory I love the idea of not having a national ID, so that technically the government has less information and power over me in theory. But by this point it doesn't really matter, they already have databases of all the various information about me and track the hell out of me. And every random business and form requires the SS Number already.

    So instead I would love to scrap the Social Security Cards and go to a national ID. Everyone gets one the minute they are born or step foot in the country. Would be able to solve various problems and complaints and improve data.
