    The Supervisor of Elections where I live offers voting by mail as the default option when you register to vote. I have been voting by mail for nearly a decade and it's definitely increased my participation. I just get an envelope in the mail, fill out the form and mail it back (postage is already paid). They even offer an online ballot tracker that lets you see when your ballot is received, processed and officially counted.

    If more districts pushed vote by mail more heavily, it would greatly boost participation. No need to worry about time off to go to the polls or waiting in line for hours on Election Day.
