This one is particularly scathing, and it caught my interest because it's a facet of the administration that (almost by definition) doesn't get the same level of attention as the high profile figures.

Personally, I'm really looking forward to the dramatized movies Hollywood is gonna make about this administration. I wonder how they're going to find someone who can play Trump. If the actor tries to mimic Trump as he really is, I bet it'd feel too ridiculous for a serious political drama. If the actor tries to match the "gravitas" of the drama, it won't truly convey Trump's character.

Goodness is relative. I guess he's more of simply 'not evil'. I'd speculate that Biden might keep him on as some sort of olive branch to the GOP, but I bet he has his own plans for the Treasury...

Would love to see Warren for it, or for the CFPB. There would be a nice full-circle for Warren to get to head up the organization she created after getting denied it once.

I highly doubt Baker would nominate a Republican. Warren’s vacant seat would be put up to a special election, with the governor being able to nominate someone until the results of the special...
I highly doubt Baker would nominate a Republican. Warren’s vacant seat would be put up to a special election, with the governor being able to nominate someone until the results of the special election. So for a couple of months the Republicans have one extra senate seat, and in turn do the only thing they could possibly do to piss MA Democrats off enough to vote him out. And any special election in MA is going to involve Ayanna Pressly 1000% which means a very progressive member of the squad would become a seated senator even earlier than she otherwise would.
Edit: I should also mention, that even if Baker did go to nominate a republican for that time, it’s not like there isn’t a precedent of the MA legislature to change the rules to strip that power from the governor. They did that in 2004 and gave the right for the governor to appoint back in 2009 when there was a Democratic governor.
Edit 2: Actually holy shit there are some really fun hypotheticals. Elizabeth Warren gets put into cabinet position, special election sees Marty Walsh, ex-union man, ex-member-of-the-house, mayor of Boston, wins the election. This puts up-and-coming, semi-popular (I voted for her), city councilor, and Marty’s opponent in the race for mayor, Brianna Wu, becomes mayor of Boston. Ed Markey announces his retirement and doesn’t run for another term, Ayanna Presley wins the senate seat. Joe Kennedy goes home and cries, wiping his tears on all that sweet, sweet Kennedy money.
