I think it's more of a cautionary tale of how much sites like these can affect people.

Chris is most well-known for creating the Sonichu webcomic series and for being a prolific trolling target for sites like 4chan and Kiwi Farms since 2007.
Audio of a conversation showing Chris admitting to violating her own 80-year-old mother (who is receiving treatment for dementia) surfaced online, which led to an emergency protection order being issued and Chris going on the run.
The internet erupted in disgust and outrage when the allegations first surfaced several days ago. Most notably, the hashtag "#CHRISCHANDIDWHAT" trended on Twitter.
