Is ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ a box office hit? Depends on how it holds up against ‘Super Mario Bros.’

Dungeons and Dragons is awesome. It is so fun and it has a lot of heart to it. I’m liking this new era of blockbusters we’re in so far.

Game Night was such a great movie, and while the initial trailers had me skeptical, I kept clinging onto hope that this was good. It’s quite incredible how these guys went from studio hacks (who wrote and directed the 2015 Vacation movie as well as Spider-Man: Homecoming which is good to be fair) to being a breath of fresh air.

It’s not just a well written movie, where you genuinely care about the characters and their journey it’s also a really pretty looking movie. And the action is so well directed, it’s like they kicked up the egg scene from Game Night several notches.

I highly recommend you guys watch this as soon as possible.

It was fun, the one complaint I had is that not every party member had much of an arc and they probably could have done a little more with the Druid in particular, but it was fantastic and the Marvel Humor works well in D&D since around the table, everyone is supposed to be having a good time and the movie did a real good job of capturing that. It would be a shame if it got steamrolled by the Mario movie.
