It very much depends on what you're looking for. They don't have high rotten tomatoes scores, but I've heard they're fun to watch. Tumblr seems to really love them (mostly due to the pseudo-romance).

This third one is going to reach $400M since it's already at $175M worldwide according to boxofficemojo.com. $50M is just the US domestic gross. First movie was $80M and second movie was $90M for their US opening weekends so while this third one is worse than them, it's not like it's a bomb - it's also got a B- CS whereas 1 and 2 had a B+, so it'll be pretty much the same quality and I personally look forward to seeing it! Enough numbers though. 1 and 2 are the kind of movies that's worth the watch but not necessarily worth the price of admission. I myself will wait for the digital release like I did with the first two and munch on snacks while watching
I can't believe I missed the second one. The cast for the first one is pretty strong. I've added it to my movie list. Sadly, it'll be March 22nd of next year... but I will eventually watch it. I...

I liked Ed Norton as Hulk -- so if its anything like that for tone, I'll be happy :)
Do you have a backlog of movies all the way until March? I felt the tone for The Incredible Hulk was quite serious - Venom is more comedic. They definitely lend themselves very well for a binge!...

haha yeah. Its got me on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays of there isn't any F1 -- for the most part. I was trying to decide on a movie one night and I realized that my overall movie list (3501 films total, 34% watched since ~2015 or so) was full of a lot of standards that I want to watch, but never do for various reasons. Often they're great films but there are better ones that I'm thinking of. So I have a spreadsheet with this with a formula to generate an ICS file that is pulled to github with an action, then I subscribe to it. It runs every half hour, so when I make changes, its in my calendar pretty quick.
I run the same system for TV series (Buffy right now), motorsport, and some other stuff. All media. I marked the next one with an x
Here is my movie list up to March, starting in April of this year.
I like when movies are under two hours -- especially for something like a comic book character. I'm still wanting for the Incredible Hulk / Fight Club fanedit :)
Literally none of these links work for me :( I can google the titles but thought you'd want to know. Might just be my end somehow though. Anyway I admire the determination and ability to stick to...

The schedule has been such a blessing. I'll shift stuff around and override some dates. The date is generated and the movie info is from the omdbapi. It takes about ten seconds to add hundreds of movies, if I wanted to.
I've seen some of these several times, but about 95% are first runs.
Snarky remark: if you like mindless movies, with mediocre CGI, poor writing & cliches. You will definitely enjoy it. The first, I watched because of Tom Hardy. The second I tried to watch because...

The first, I watched because of Tom Hardy. The second I tried to watch because of Woody Harrelson, but I couldn’t manage to finish it. I’m not going to even try watching the third, having seen the trailer for it.
To me, these movies lack artistry from every point of view; all aspects are mediocre: average cinematography, writing, world, special effects.
I could watch Tom Hardy peel carrots for an hour. I mean, he absolutely crushed Locke --- not a lot of people can carry something like that. Thankfully we live in a world where soft drugs can...

They made a third Venom?
That was my reaction as well. I don't remember seeing anything about it until just now.
i didn’t even know there was a second. were the first two any good?
The first one was good. Tonally very unique, playing into a pseudo-romantic relationship between Eddie Brock and the symbiote
hm. that sounds interesting. I'll check it out. Thanks for this!

I watched the first and saw a synopsis for #2. I haven't seen a series so unaware of what it wanted to be in years.
