Dinesh D'Souza was recently pardoned by Donald Trump and made this documentary comparing Trump to Abraham Lincoln and working to tie both Presidencies as a smear campaign by the Democratic Party.
It is currently the worst reviewed movie of the year at 0% on Rotten Tomatoes.

This is obviously evidence of a Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy. =^.^=
Well I mean, it does have a 90 percent audience score. But to be fair theres only 11 RT
deep state agentsmovie critics so far. :PIf you want to die inside a bit, you should actually read some of those audience reviews

It is pretty scary / sad how deluded a lot of these people are.
Yea, I kind of figured as much, but it's the same thing you see on most political movies/documentaries. I think I need to take one for the team and give it a watch/review! Maybe I can find someone more liberal here to watch it with me and give a dual review.
The funny thing about most of those reviews is that they are really obviously fake. The majority of them have not reviewed any movie other than DOAN. The bot they are using isn't even working right, like one guys name is literally "JOHN%20 CLARKSON." A lot of the accounts are already getting banned if you click on their profiles too.
Hey, I for one would definitely be interested in your views on the movie given that you lean conservative.
I'm not a huge fan of his work to begin with, so I think I can at least give it a fair & moderate review from the "other side". Once it's available for streaming I'll pop back in here.
And thanks! Sometimes I feel like i'm just following you around Tildes at this point ;)
lol, yeah, I know what you mean. I think it is just the nature of a small community like this. Even though there is something like 5,000 users total on the site, there are probably only about 10-20 active posters/commenters that I regularly see.
90% audience score is meaningless on its own. It's a self-selecting population. It's certainly interesting that the movie has a 90% audience score and a 0% critic score, though. It suggests that Dinesh D'Souza is preaching to the choir as usual, and that at least a tenth of his audience isn't drinking the Flavor-Aid.
The spouse and I joke about the "people who like things like this, like this" problem in aggregate reviewing systems. As you said, it's an inherently self-selecting population, and the reviews don't entail objective standards against which a broader audience can evaluate the quality of the content in relation to their own tastes and interests.
I think there's a nice symmetry comparing the first Republican president to the one who will be, ideally, the last.
George W. Bush was the last Republican president. Trump is the first Fascist president.
