Please don't just submit a random Wikipedia article with no context. If you'd like to start a discussion about something in the article, consider making a text post explaining what you find interesting about it, so that people have something to go off.

I know that this is something that people do regularly on HN, but I don't think it's a good behavior to emulate. It's the equivalent of old forum posts like: "Giraffes. Discuss." It's not a very effective way to get a conversation started.

May I ask why you've linked to this Wikipedia page? What's the point of this post?

This particular issue of posting Wikipedia articles was only discussed about 2 weeks ago. You won't find it in any of the official docs - most of which haven't been updated for about 6 months. :/...

P.S. If you're looking to share Wikipedia articles just for the sake of sharing Wikipedia articles, someone else set up a thread for that.
