The absolute best part of the first movie?

When Columbus is at the gas station in the beginning of the film, he says he’s at a gas station in Garland, Texas. That Garland looks like it had been destroyed by zombies but that was just how Garland looked

Watching that part, at a movie theater in Garland and the whole theater erupted in cheers. First, at the novelty of our mostly forgotten town of the DFW metroplex being mentioned in a big Hollywood film. Secondly, how Columbus wasn’t wrong. Parts of Garland look rough

Excited for this sequel though. I doubt it will live up to the original. Most sequels don’t and the first felt like it caught lightning in a bottle with its near perfect balance of zombie fare, comedy, and chemistry between the four leads. But I’m excited to see what they can do with this

So who sold their soul to whom to make this happen with all the actors at the top of their game?
