This is awesome, I love it!

My wife and I have been festival judges in the past, and their work is actually on par or better than half of the crap we'd watched. I would easily give these an approval rating/pass it along to other judges to a consensus on.

In my opinion, there are three types of people in the film industry: people who want fame/attention, people who happen to be good at it and just want a paycheck, and people who just want to tell stories. The last category typically makes for the best or most watchable movie, and is where I'd put these kids. The charm/spirit of those shorts makes it more watchable and fun than the other stuff we'd find. And I recognize the ADR may seem cheesy to some, but considering it's either that or sound editing (which is a beast), ADR's typically the way to go, and is what Peter Jackson opted for (and still opts for) in his early work.

Edit: lol so I work at a filmmaking software company who'd made a lot of the tools they'd used, and was about to give them some free stuff. turns out someone at the company already did.
