T.W. - is Arthur imagining it in arkham asylum? When asked by the social worker he didn't have much of an answer why he was locked up before.

    They already revealed most of the movie largely involved him hallucinating and experiencing a break with reality. It frankly wouldn't make sense to pull it again for the end. It would be like...

    They already revealed most of the movie largely involved him hallucinating and experiencing a break with reality. It frankly wouldn't make sense to pull it again for the end. It would be like Inception saying outright "Leo's still in a dream!" and then dropping the spinning top at the end.
