    Most likely related to COVID-19, although they steer clear of explicitly mentioning this. Bond is obviously quite special, they embrace higher production costs because well, it's James Bond, so the need to make as much revenue as possible is important—they likely don't want to dent turnout.

    Although it would be hilarious if there was some kind of pandemic/biological weapon tie-in in the film plot itself.
