For who haven't had the pleasure of living in a rural area of America, hanging out in the Walmart parking lot has a lot of connotations. There's even a country song about it. How the song describes it would be pretty far on the positive side of public perception.

I think it's a great idea. People need safe social activities, there's lots of empty parking lot, there's already food and snacks there... glad to see it.

It's Walmart, but I'm totally down for movies at a Drive-in, byo food, comfier seats, and a more custom experience than sticking everyone in a room.
