As is typical of later trailers, this one gives away too much of the story in my opinion.

I don't even know. I remember the ?first? one, but generally avoid watching others if I'm sold on the first. Don't know why I did for this one, but by 90 seconds in I closed the window so I don't...

Maybe the covid delays forced them to have a more revealing and extensive marketing campaign.

I want to believe that, but it's doubtful. I've stopped watching pretty much anything past the first trailer for years now. Either the movies are just predictable or pretty much every trailer past...

I know this will be (rightfully) meaningless to 99% percent of people because the trailer does its job and the movie itself looks good, but I'm annoyed at how bad the sense of narrative momentum is in the trailer editing itself. They make the "Bruce Wayne" name drop the dramatic turn but also kind of accidentally hint at the start that Riddler knows his identity with the letter so it's just kind of a thud?

Beyond that thing that really doesn't matter at all, not crazy about the processed film grain (had a whole spiel about it last trailer) but the use of bright colorful sources of light in dark spaces with deep shadows looks quite striking and well done. I also like Pattinson's voice, was never crazy about the Bale growl or the Affleck gritty auto-tune.

I also hate the forced growl of the Bale era and Affleck too. It's specifically unjustified because Bruce Wayne is a billionaire with the best tech. Can't he just use a kick ass voice modulator?

Yup, I mean it was still deep and growling, but there’s a clear “robotic” feel to it. Here’s a tiny little clip

This is anti Superman suit. I kinda have the impression he does force the voice most of the time.

Affleck uses a modulator, but it sounds comical imo.
