Oh, snap. I didn't realize Muse had released an album this year. I'm gonna have to go give it a listen now. Thanks for sharing this!

Hah, true. But I am usually pretty aware of upcoming albums, especially for bands I'm a fan of, like Muse. So I was a bit surprised that this came out without me finding out about it beforehand. :)

This album is so solid. I know a lot of people drag them for Drones and Simulation Theory, but considering those are my two favorite albums of theirs it's great to hear more of a continuation in that realm for them, just with a little bit of a harder more fun beat. They just sound like they are having a ton of fun on this record.

I’ve been listening to Muse since Origin of Symmetry which released — holy shit, over twenty years ago?! and I’ve watched people drag every single album they’ve put out since. I genuinely don’t get it. For me they’ve always captured this indescribable and genuinely unmatched bombastic, spacey, dystopian, impersonal-yet-personal campiness. It’s impressive to me that that’s even the lane they found to cruise in, much less that they’re still able to do so and not have it feel like they’re retreading old ground.

I actually had no idea there was a new album out so I’m excited to dive into it.
