Luke Vibert - Grit It may be the perfect acid techno album. It's often three parts: Pads/chords, a TR-808, and a TB-303. It also taught me I don't know how to describe or tell people about acid...

Luke Vibert - Grit It may be the perfect acid techno album. It's often three parts: Pads/chords, a TR-808, and a TB-303. It also taught me I don't know how to describe or tell people about acid techno in a way that at all sounds pleasant. I just like the creativity and how even though the patterns don't change significantly it stays interesting, which is incredibly difficult to get right with stripped down music like this. Some tracks like "Swinging Cuts" blew me away, and I don't know how to explain why, I just spent the entire drive laughing thinking "This album shouldn't be so good."
