What have you been listening to this week? You don't need to do a 6000 word review if you don't want to, but please write something! If you've just picked up some music, please update on that as well, we'd love to see your hauls :)
Feel free to give recs or discuss anything about each others' listening habits.

I've been listening to Underneath My Raincoat by Studio Killers. It's a song they released recently, and it's stuck in my head. For some reason the melody is stuck in my head, and I feel like I've heard it in another song before(maybe a hymn or folk tune).

That the big new one I've been listening to. I've been looking for other electronic-pop/dance music, as I've been on a nostalgia kick for the stuff that I listened to when I was back in high school. (Cascada, Basshunter, Taio Cruz, Gaga come to mind).
I had a whole big thing written up but I'm tired today so I'm just gonna dump a bunch of links with short descriptions. I'm new here, I listen to a lot of weird niche stuff of pretty much any genre, mostly Electronic, Trap/Beats, Rap/Hiphop, and Punk/Rock. But also anything else from classical to jazz to country, as well as a ton of foreign language stuff, just has to tickle my ears the right way.
Also I listen on spotify so all my links are to that, you can find most of them on youtube though.
In Explosions - Kisama
I love this artist, I found them recently and they blend Breakbeat/DnB and crazy distortion in ways my brain adores.
Eyedea & Abilities - Hay Fever
E&A have been one of my favorite artists for decades, this album is my favorite of theirs, and this song hits especially hard recently because a close family member of mine has Alzheimer's and I've been having to prepare for the end recently... yeah.
Starmoon - Goth Bitches Love Lego Star Wars
I just like this one because it makes the spotify UI switch to the star wars skin :P
Les Char - RESTORE POWER
Just kinda bangs, ya know?
Kvtvlv - I couldn't tell - night
Makes me feel like it's 4am and I'm browsing an obscure forum in 2011.
Accelio - Midas
Makes me feel like it's 4am and I'm participating in an obscure IRC chat in 1998.
Jarv - Getting you up to speed
Peek the whole album, Jarv is an insanely underlistened rapper and he captures the small town east coast shithole vibe perfectly, speaking as someone who grew up in that kind of place.
Tennyson - Feelwitchu
That dusty subwoofer sound is chef's kiss
BONUS ROUND:
Hyphen - Hate Thy Neighbor
Godly the Ruler - supernova
Cepta - waifus in the 80s
Llainwire - Casca
COLD MEGA - DON'T FEEL SO GOOD (whole album is great)
hyunis1000 - DATA
Reginald Chapman - There Is This Thing
Von Storm - Bring It Back
laamaa - seven weeks
Chippy goodness.. "stars be my guide", the first track, brought a tear to my eye.
I am amazed by what people can produce on the Dirtywave M8.
his album synthesizer greatest vol 1 also has some gems.
Haken - Fauna
Still listening to the new Haken album, which has been out for a while now. It's more prog-y than most of their work, so some of the songs had to grow on me a bit. Of the four singles they released ahead of the album, the only one I really liked on first listen was Alphabet of Me, which I feel isn't really that representative of the album as a whole. My favourite track from this album is Elephants Never Forget, clocking in at 11 minutes 7 seconds, which I admit may be a bit too long for a single.
There are also some seriously catchy choruses on this album, which maybe isn't what listeners usually look for in prog metal, but I enjoy them.
