What have you been listening to this week? You don't need to do a 6000 word review if you don't want to, but please write something! If you've just picked up some music, please update on that as well, we'd love to see your hauls :)
Feel free to give recs or discuss anything about each others' listening habits.
You can make a chart if you use last.fm:

Usual bangers for me. Goat, dying fetus, viagra boys and early breaking Benjamin for my butt rock fix.
New buñuel, pest control and punitive damage are absolute ragers! Check them out if you enjoy noise rock and crossover thrash/hardcore.
Famous last words (an ode to eaters) - Ethel Cain
I've been obsessed with her music for the past few months; I am super excited for her upcoming album, and her cover of American Footballs For Sure is absolutely incredible.
I've been wanting to start a new band so I've put together a playlist of bands I want to draw from - and it's been heavy in rotation with that spotify "add more similar" feature engaged.
It's comprised of Eyehategod, Converge, Thou, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Botch, APMD, KEN Mode, Baptists, GAZA, Dead in the Dirt, and Chat Pile, so that's been the bulk of my week probably.
The body and full of hell would go well in that playlist
Both excellent bands!
A lot of Wild Ones and a tiny bit of other stuff. I forgot my username ages ago (and I don't think I can reclaim the account because the only thing I know is the username - the email I used for it got deleted ages ago I think... anwyay the scrobbling is still going from my pc, but not from my phone so it's a bit lackluster, however link to chart.
Wild Ones broke up in 2018 and haven't released anything new since then sadly. They were an indie dream pop band from Portland in the US. I am especially a huge fan of their Keep it Safe album and Heatwave EP so here's a recommendation from the former, Paia and a recommendation from the latter, Dim the Lights
Spotify recommended Hazel English to me while listening to them and while it's not entirely clicking, I do That Thing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_0VnbF4i8I) though, the chorus really gets on your brain as we say here
I'm historically not much of an indie listener but a few of these qualify. I've been trying out Tidal and find that it's surfacing a lot of new releases and other music that I haven't heard but enjoy.
Seems like every other month I somehow end up listening to Caladan Brood - Echoes of the Falling. An absolutely masterpiece that is Melodic/Atmospheric Black Metal. Especially Wild Autumn Wind takes my breath away.
Furthermore I found Sworn - Grand Eclipse in my saved folder on Spotify and you know that feeling that if it's there it's because it's good but you have no recollection to why or when you made this decision? Well, I listened to it and halfway through it made perfect sense. What an epic journey and finish. This whole album I came to learn just slaps. Great aggressive powerful vocals, energetic guitars mixed with lovely dreamy synth.
I also revisited Mark Knopfler - The Studio Albums. I've loved this mans music and his guitar for as long as I can remember and I'm continuously impressed how he manages to release so much high quality music. Knopflers whole presence just oozed music and feeling.
Last mention is Thy Catafalque - A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek. Latest single and these Hungarian guys keeps popping up through the years and I love the energy and melody combined with some shoe gaze elements.
Spotify has decided that King Geedorah (MF DOOM) - Take Me to Your Leader is my favorite album and that every mix should have something from it.
