Yet again, Ethel Cain. Her new single that came out yesterday is incredible, I realllly hope she carries that sound to her next album. I have also been enjoying Magdalena Bay's album Imaginal Disk. It's so fun and synth-y, I can't understand what half of the songs are about but I love it regardless.

The Cure - Songs of a Lost World
Their first album in 16 years finds Smith and co. back wallowing in Disintegration territory and it is wonderful. After only the few listens I've had since it dropped yesterday I'm already convinced that it is one of their strongest releases. Great album throughout.

    Neon Nightmare - Faded Dream
Yesterday was a doubly good release day for me. I had also been really looking forward to this tasty bit of Type O Negative-worship and it fully delivered the goods. Hits a few of the staple Peter Steele (RIP) sounds near pitch perfect.

I've also been loving The Liars Club by Coheed and Cambria. I've liked Coheed since 2014 or so, but really only listened to Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness until this year when I went ahead and listened through their whole discography. I'm definitely a huge fan and The Liars Club is one of my favorite. I think I just love when songs have that bit where it slows down/stops for a second then gets kinda crazy again? Idk I'm not a musician and don't know how to explain lol.
