What have you been listening to this week? You don't need to do a 6000 word review if you don't want to, but please write something! If you've just picked up some music, please update on that as well, we'd love to see your hauls :)
Feel free to give recs or discuss anything about each others' listening habits.
You can make a chart if you use last.fm:

Sometimes I listen to Nina.
And since I am apparently an old person now, also to this. The last one is awesome.
Dylan Brady's remix of CSIRAC dropped last night. Really good imo!
love me some happy hardcore. Recently discovered this Indonesian group that makes some cool stuff so figured id share the madness
can't get enough of this OST
VA-11 HALL-A - Second Round | Garoad
and some new releases, especially these, some of which might be AOTY material:
I Fucking Love You | Sydney Valette
Sound of the Void | Kontravoid
Artifice Dissolves | Dissimulator | 20 Buck Spin
Cathedral Speech | Spirit Possession
but also these:
The Inexorable Transcendence of Death | DECONSEKRATED | Nuclear Winter Records
Psychosis Neurosis | IZM | Under The Gun Records
Second Shape | SRPNTS
Песни Междумирья | Eoront
Doom Metastasis | MORBID STENCH | Nuclear Winter Records
S/T | Havana Syndrome | Swimming Faith Records
From Wreckage | Thrash Course
I used to have Safe Haven from VA-11 HALL-A as my morning alarm. I stopped using it because my wife had to wake me up while I was having a dream about dancing to the part where the snare kicks in.
Nice! That's a great track for sure. I was at this weird point in my life where I had some big life stress things going on (won't go into it, but some negative stuff) and one of the streamers I watched was starting the game and doing a whole playthrough. I had never heard of the game before and it's not the typical fare I would be into.
It's an extremely chill / inclusive / laid-back stream- and I got an unexpectedly significant amount of comfort out of watching someone play it, along with the soundtrack that everyone was enjoying together as a community. It really soothed the soul for quite a while during that time, so I have a huge fondness for it
Spent the last week organizing my digital collection of music that's not on Spotify/streaming. Which meant listening to some Cindy Lee (Diamond Jubilee), classic Lil Wayne mixtapes (Dedication 2, 4, 6, and 6 Reloaded), and Death Grips (Exmilitary).
A new album/EP called Skeletor Bag from mars kumari and Del the Funky Homosapien. This is probably the best underground Hip-Hop release I have heard in years, proper underground vibes and sounds. I feel transported back to the glory days of the 00's era of underground sounds.
In sort of the same vein Joseph Rathgeber has released an unbelievable 2 volume 1200+ page complete history of everything Anticon. I just got my copies yesterday and they are a goldmine for anyone who deeply loves the Anticon sound and underground Hip-Hop world during that era. I consider Anticon the best of the best when it comes to Hip-Hop, legends every single one of them. This thing has been in the works for many years and is endorsed by the Anticon crew.
I didn’t know I needed a Brymir cover of Scooters How Much Is The Fish but I found out I really did.
Enjoy
Jomm feat. readyaimfire27 - Melatonin.
I discovered this song through a Facebook ad of all places. Was really surprised by how good it was and how they pretty much nailed Japanese city pop. It's not my favourite song by them though, that title would go to Astronaut Song.
