My favorite album is Pleasure Palette from Flamingosis. contains a lot of video game sounds, and mixes samples into a very jazzy and funky lofi experience.
Macross 82-99 and Nanidato were some of my favorite future funk artists, and they helped me discover a lot of showa era j-pop.
