It is hands down the absolute best curated source of music for anyone that loves live music, IMO. Even all the more mainstream, non-indie/acoustic artists they have had on (E.g. T-Pain, Aurora, Until The Ribbon Breaks, Chvrches) have managed to use the minimalist live format to transform their music into an amazing and unique listening experience, despite me having no interest in their genres or desire to hear their original studio work.

KEXP is comparable in terms of quality IMO. I think this is my fave Tiny Desk Concert though. Ole Brushy One String.

Yup KEXP is definitely up there as well, IMO... hence why I already submitted one of my favs from them already: William Elliott Whitmore - Hell Or High Water (Live on KEXP)

I like the KEXP recordings because they feel so intimate, like a watching a private concert just for me. Tiny Desk however keeps surprising me, you'd think everything has been done with that...

I like the KEXP recordings because they feel so intimate, like a watching a private concert just for me. Tiny Desk however keeps surprising me, you'd think everything has been done with that format, but Bob's desk brings out something special out of these artists somehow.

        Brushy was great.

I think my favorite Tiny Desk concert is the one from Neko Case; idk why, probably because it's one of the earliest ones I saw.

While we're comparing cool live settings themed sites/channels here are few other cool ones:

        • Pink Couch Sessions
        • Yours Truly
        • La Blogothèque
