The new EP from Audrey Sylvain (from Amesoeurs, KPN), it's not amazing but I always like what she does for some reason: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIycbq_50kQ

I've been listening to Elder, especially their album Reflections of a Floating World. It's really well done Psych/Prog metal type stuff, very good for background music while I work. I'm not sure how well it'll hold up to repeated listens, but so far I've been enjoying it. It's at least temporarily scratching the Mastodon itch.

I recently discovered Sparks, and have been obsessed. They were part of glam in its early days, but their song writing wasn't typical of any act of the time. Propaganda is a pretty solid album during their "glam phase". I was put off for the first couple of listens, but after repeated listens I got hooked. They eventually branched off into different genres. No.1 In Heaven for example is an electronic album produced by Giorgio Moroder which influenced late Joy Division/New Order.

I also keep going back to Arcade High - New Impressions, quite a few catchy synthwave tracks on this album.

The new The Appleseed Cast album is really good too. I've only listened through it a couple of times so far, but I expect it'll get quite a few more plays when I'm in the mood for that style of music.

This one track sticks out... I had been all worked up due to an online conversation, and then I got a YouTube notification from Marvel83'. These synthwaves just chilled me out so much. So I posted it on r/listentothis in the hope that it would help other folks, and it blew up a bit. I eventually bought the EP from the bandcamp to show some love and appreciation.

Additionally, I dug deep tonight and this ancient track arose from PJ Harvey, The Garden.
