Tycho's one of my favorite artists for "work music" because his previous releases have been instrumental with a really nice flow to it, but on this album there are vocals on 5/8 of the tracks. I'm not really sure what I think of it. The vocals are fine, but it's not really what I want out of a Tycho album. He's already released instrumental versions of two of the songs and I like them better, so I'm hoping that eventually he'll do that for the other three as well and I can have a fully-instrumental version of the album.

I have gotten to hang out with Scott a couple times though, once in 2011 and again in 2013. So happy to see where his career has gone.
I received the transparent vinyl of the album yesterday, looking forward to playing it this weekend. I'm with you on the vocals, I'd rather have instrumentals all the way.
