Yes, it's because of Philosophy Tube. It's the second time Olly Thorn introduces me to a great track I've never heard before, the first being “Goodbye, Mr. A” by The Hoosiers.

LOL, I came to the comments to ask you if you had discovered this from the new Philosophy Tube video, which you clearly anticipated... so kudos for that. :P I also had never heard the song before...

I also had never heard the song before the cover either, so went looking for the original and wound up listening to it and a bunch of Raconteurs stuff... but honestly, I actually like the cover version better than the original. Carolina Drama is awesome though.

I'm envious, you couldn't go a few hours in my area in the late '00s without hearing SASG from somewhere, whether it be ads, stores, or the radio.

The White Stripes was being played virtually everywhere here in Canada in the late 90s... but I never heard anything by The Raconteurs being played in the 00s though.

So do a lot of people on Olly's Patreon, asking him to make an album of all his covers. Including yours truly. Hopefully, he will. Oh, and it's actually the third time Olly introduces me to new...

Oh, and it's actually the third time Olly introduces me to new tracks. The first first time was that time when Olly coveredWhy Do We Build The Wall” by Anaïs Mitchell. At this point, Philosophy Tube is my MTV.

I'm partial to 'Blue Veins' and 'Hands' off this record but the whole thing is great. It and Consolers of the Lonely were staples of my middle/high school music rotation.
