Bonus, their NPR Tiny Desk from a few years ago (which was amazing, IMO): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVDJ8O3lPBA

Heh, I get that all the time too. I like to think I am pretty in-touch with the indie music scene, and the up-and-coming artists in it, but even I get surprised remarkably often by discovering an artist I really like well after they have already "made it".

I didn't love every track, but the ones I did I really love.

That's very much how I felt too. Some were meh, but the bangers really really banged.

p.s. When I first saw the NPR video way back when, I initially misread the title as Tash Santana, and despite that not being the case, I still think it seems remarkably appropriate... cuz goddamn can they play that guitar!

p.p.s. Also turns out I mis-gendered/pronouned before. That's what I get for making stupid assumptions. ;) Fixed.

This has a different (flamenco-ish) vibe compared to a couple of other Tash Sultana songs that I like (Jungle, Notion). Thanks for sharing; Tash's a very interesting artist!
