Lots of Ewan Dobson. He's been streaming on twitch and YouTube. It's really cool he goes through questions in the chat and tells stories and stuff. A very interesting and funny dude. The YouTube streams are performances while the twitch streams are practice, and it's really interesting to see how he practices and prepares for performance.

It's prompted me to listen to his stuff more and work on some of his stuff for guitar. He's been one of my favorites for probably a decade now so it's been great to see him play online.

Flatbush Zombies - Vacation in Hell on repeat all week. Love a good hip-hop ensemble. They seem like a fun, wacky bunch, and they make great music. It's hard to describe with a genre - it has a unique creativity that I find more and more of as I listen to the album in a loop.

I overheard a cover of Pink Floyd's /Time/ and was reminded of the next song on the album, the amazing /The Great Gig in the Sky/.

On YouTube, I found three different amazing videos of live performances of the song, one with the original voice performer, and two covers.

Phoebe Bridgers's Punisher is fantastic folk (with great album art!).

Allie X's Cape God is a really solid pop album with only a couple of missteps.

Been spinning Diamond Construct's most recent release, an EP called DCX2. These guys are definitely all in on the new influx of nu-metal into hardcore. That, sadly, includes some pretty immature lyrics. But you can't deny the instruments and actual vox hit like a bag full of bricks. Complimenting the djent riffs is a lot of Korn-like harmonics and start-stop song writing. Hopefully, these guys avoid what lead to nu-metal's downfall, which was taking itself too seriously in my opinion. Because this stuff rips.
