One of my own compositions, published for the first time today. Dedicated to my lovely daughter, and inspired by the likes of Ludovico Einaudi. Would love any feedback!

It was very pleasant to listen to. I imagine it must feel pretty cool to be able to create some art like this for your daughter too. :)

I do enjoy being able to create music for the people I love, yeah. It does make that need for perfectionism far stronger though!

This was beautiful -- a very lovely tribute. I like that there are three distinct sections -- first, where the movement of the song is in the left hand, then it switches over to the right, and then switches back over to the left for the last section. It makes the ascending arpeggio at the end of the song, where you use both hands (and presumably cross them as you go up?), feel like you're bringing the pieces together and tying the song up with a neat little bow. However, you also don't resolve it with that last note (intentionally), which makes the song have a sort of "there's still more to come" quality -- the perfect way to musically summarize a growing daughter who still has much more ahead of her in life. :)

What does Maia think of it?

Thanks for your kind words! She was very fond of it, and listened to both her lullabies in quick succession and was talking about the differences between the two of them a little bit :)
