Hey all, I mentioned this in the ~creative thread yesterday; I hope it's ok to repost here.

Today was release day for an album I co-produced by the NYC and Toronto based pianist/composer Allison Leyton-Brown. These are expanded versions of songs she wrote for the radio show and podcast This American Life. 18 tracks of meditative solo piano, late-night jazz and other eclectic sounds. Link goes to Bandcamp, and it's also available on the other major streaming services. In addition to producing, I also played drums on four of the songs. After many years of performing and recording, this is my first producer credit and I'm pretty excited about it!

I finally had a chance to give this album my undivided attention last night. It was very pleasant to listen to, and the perfect thing to throw on right before bed. I especially liked how varied it was; You get a small taste of a bunch of different styles of Jazz (and contemporary Classical) all throughout. The only tracks I wasn't too keen on were Ducks in a Row since ragtime piano is amongst my least favorite things, and Walk it Off which was also pretty cheesy sounding at times too. I really enjoyed all the Last Dance and Solitary Suite tracks though. And despite my propensity for vocal jazz, believe it or not, the final track wasn't actually my favorite (even though I did enjoy it)... it was Pluck Life, which is one hell of a catchy song!

That was a really good album. Thanks for sharing (and helping create) this @boredop. Also, congrats!
