While I have been to both of the Chicago clubs listed at the beginning of the article, I sadly have not been to any of the actual southern juke joints listed. I did get to spend a couple of days near Clarksdale a few years ago when I went to the King Biscuit Blues Festival in nearby Helena, Arkansas, but after the festival ended each night we went straight back to our hotel. Not checking out Red's is my only regret from that trip. I hope I get another chance!
