Methuselah OST | Utopian Ant Colony - Right off the bat, didn't like the sound of it. Kept going through it regardless, since I said I was going to give my opinions on these (and I meant it dammit!). I was however pleasantly surprised to find ambient lo-fi-ish music, reminiscent of Pikuniku. Or at least some of its style. It's not entirely my cup of tea, but I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would.

NOT Celeste 2 | Lanis Track DX Mix - I dig this. A lot. I'm a sucker for music like this. It reminds me of a mix of old gameboy music mixed with a slight pokemon vibe? Idk, might just be me. Arpeggiated, rising, lead-rythm is everything I want. It even has a psuedo-breakdown which I appreciate as a metalhead :)

Haven Soundtrack | Still Free - OOOOOOOOO gimme more of this. I went and favorited the entire album on Spotify halfway through the song. It's a dense ambience, without being overbearing. I think I found a new artist I'm gonna follow. The "siren wail" for lead hearkens to some old trap bangers that I still listen to - think Diplo, RL Grime, Keys n' Krates.

Cyber Punk Vol. 4 | Pilling in my Head - This is great for concentrating. Solid tempo, keeps at it without changing too many things at once. I can certainly see myself enjoying listening to this for extended periods without paying all that much attention to it.

The Medium | A Dark Room - Meh. Not my thing 🤷‍♂️

TOHU | Fish Home - I'm not sure I can adequately describe how I arrive at this, but it sounds like music that was designed specifically for a video game. And, I mean, it is. But that's not exactly what I mean. Like, the music has no aim other than to be the background noise for a more important piece of your attention. It's not unpleasant by any means; but I prefer music that's supposed to be the center of your attention.

      More coming..... eventually

Also, I definitely did a double take when I saw the cover art featuring Celeste 2. Good to know that their writer knows exactly the kind of feeling that evokes:

Okay, settle down now, it’s not a true sequel to Celeste
