I'm listening to Jose Gonzalez's new single Visions. I think I prefer El Invento (the previous single) but hopefully it's all building up to an album. It's been far too long since 2015.
We changed it up with the dog this week. During her toy time, we're listening to Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves. Like YMCA before it, it is relentlessly upbeat, and has really good horns. What can I say? Dogs like horns.
Edit: Also, a guy I know put together this list of songs that feature the Fairlight CMI sampler/synth that was very popular with producers in the 80s.
A lot of Royal Blood. I've had a passing interest but never dived in deeper. The three singles off their upcoming album are so good!
