This 13 hour playlist of Aesop Rock and Rob Sonic's works has been the majority of what I've been listening to. Some stuff has a narrative component, like Aes's Spirit World Field Guide and Hail Mary Mallon's Are You Gonna Eat That that break the flow a bit, but Aes and Rob's solo work does a good job of complementing the other, I feel.

I've been going back through El-P's Cancer 4 Cure and I'll Sleep When You're Dead. I prefer Cancer 4 Cure, largely because the mix is better (I'll Sleep When You're Dead has his vocals too low, I think). He's a great rapper, and it's interesting to see the collaborations with Killer Mike that sort of led up to RTJ in Cancer 4 Cure. Oddly, I'm not as big a fan of RTJ as I am of El-P and Killer Mike separately.

Cannibal Ox's newest EP, Metal Ox: Maxi Single is pretty good, I just like how Vast Aire sounds, to be honest. I wound up listening to a bunch of their stuff after I first went through Aesop Rock's discography after hearing "Attention Span" on Labor Days.

Most bands of this style either have good production, or good vocals / music, but never all three at the same time. There's two exceptions: Moonsorrow, and Finsterforst. The former has been a long-time favorite and I've never found a worthy companion to that band with its unique style of long-winded, heavy and melancholic soundscapes with stellar production. And then there was Finsterforst. I've been listening it a lot lately, don't know it really well yet but that's just a matter of time. The production quality isn't as great as Moonsorrow, but that's just a completely different level, and I'm happy at least one band seems to understand that black(ened) metal can benefit from not being recorded on a toaster.
Really great music to lose yourself in, while lying on bed listening or for long car drives.

The soundtrack to HBO's White Lotus is really great. Some other people mentioned that De Veer's other soundtracks are pretty great, too, and a brief listen confirms! I'd like to spend more time listening to them. So many great things to listen to, so little time!

Max Richter's Dream 3 - I should listen to the whole album but haven't had time yet (again!).
