    The admission is nice, but note that there was no details as to who is being targeted or for what end. It's easy enough for me to read that and assume he's meddling in favor of people I don't like, but then it will be easy for anyone to read into it that the "other side" was favored. This admission of meddling the day before the election is itself meddling.

    Having one person from the other side come out in the open about their efforts won't change anything within the governing bodies that are already aware of meddling or with the thoughts of the people they're targeting, but it's a welcomed admission.

    Discussing this issue can move one step further out of the tin-foil-hat arena and move more into factual tactics of modern international politics.
