Either way, I am continuously saddened by the frequency of these (any kind of) mass shootings in the US. In Denmark, a mentally ill man killed 3 people this year at a mall. Other than that, the last mass shooting was in 2015 - police have stood guard and surveilled the Copenhagen synagogue, armed with automatic weapons 24/7, since that attack.
It hurts a little bit more than usual (can you believe there is such a thing as 'usual' mass shootings?) when it is my queer siblings that are victims, and I am not holding my breath but I really hope the US can do something, anything, about this chronic issue of theirs.

True. For example, It might be possible that this was, say, revenge against an ex, a former boss, etc. However, given the guys background, it seems exceedingly unlikely.
