there's an election on Thursday (June 7th) for the Ontario provincial government
Kathleen Wynne of the Ontario Liberals has run the party since 2013 and she's seen two wins. her first was a minority government (where you have the most seats but not more than 50%) and then a majority government.
Wynne's Liberals won 53 seats last election and projections show them winning 1 this election
it's now a toss up between the New Democratic Party and the Progressive Conservatives (headed up by Andrea Horwath and Doug Ford respectively)
oh man that label is super meaningless. here used to be a PC party that truly was progressive but they eventually merged with a more conservative party and really she'd that progressive mandate.
