    I never knew the world of honey was so stringent. I wonder if they are able to determine what the fake honey is made from or if they can only say it was adultered.

      From what I've seen and heard, the added substances are various sugar syrups. Honey is mostly sugar, after all, so the replacement has to be sugar-based.
