Off-topic, but when did WAPO start using the wapo.st link shortening URL? It's pretty clever. I like it. :)

      15 man Saudi hit squad

The last time that I heard about a group of “15 Saudis” causing trouble, they had highjacked 3 airliners and turned them into manned cruise missiles. They killed thousands of Americans and Saudi felt zero repercussions. We just can’t handle another oil embargo apparently.

Even if C02 levels weren’t at historic levels, taking money and power away from places like the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is reason enough to move away from fossil fuel.

Yup, its insanely messed up. I cant believe that our government isnt stepping up for this man.

While I truly despise Donald Trump, and the modern Republican Party, this is not a partisan problem. This is a centralized fossil fuel economy problem. It goes back a ways.. It is arguable that Japan attacked us(USA) at Pearl Harbor because we cut them off from the flow of oil, while the US had control of petroleum production. When Saudi citizens committed the next “Pearl Harbor” 59 years later, the Saudis had control of the global oil supply via their cartel, OPEC. So while we had the overwhelmingly dustructive military, public proof of the nationality of the attackers, we invaded Iraq instead of Saudi. That would be like attacking China instead of Japan after Pearl Harbor. Even our military runs on foreign OPEC oil, we can’t attack the source of our military power now, can we. Obama sold weapons to the Saudis. The only way for the USA to stop getting effed in the ass is to move to a non-fossil fuel economy. This would be a basic national security issue if people were paying attention.

          Edit: phrasing, clarity
