Members of a far-right men’s group violently beat up protesters and weren’t arrested. New York Police won’t say why.

To me this just goes to show how afraid these people are. A group of 30 grown adults decided the appropriate reaction to a hat being knocked off by a group of three protestors, was to beat them into a pulp. These people are afraid, and constantly waiting for the opportunity to lash out at those they fear. I hope this is a sign that these types of groups are fearing for their existence as their leaders are shunned from the internet and public.

This is will probably continue to be the peddled message going forward, and the effect is actually quite nefarious. Far-right groups have already been working to gain sympathy within law enforcement circles, and where White Supremacy isn't attractive enough to sway police they use the supposed threat of Antifa/Anarchists/Communists to garner support. They'll probably use this to corroborate such claims further even though they are the ones responsible for the violence.
