I'm hard pressed to believe most Ontarians are okay with Ford's government. His party was voted in purely because they weren't the last party, and this guy is only the Premier due to opportune timing with his party's leadership race more than people supporting him. Most OPC voters would have preferred Christine Elliott, but the cadre of stupid sexphobic morons managed to push this guy to the win.

So of course this poorly educated drug dealer runs the government exactly the way one would expect a poorly educated drug dealer to run it. He's likened to Trump a lot but Trump is almost certainly senile or demented (on top of being a generally bad person). Ford is just stupid on top of being a bad person, and is otherwise in full control of his faculties. He's just dumb and powerful.

His government's most recent decisions drew ire from their federal version, and now they're in danger of losing some of their members over to that last party. I've never heard of a political party making a move so bad that even their own parties blast them this hard. But that's what happen when you govern purely to vindictiveness than any real policy goal.

I can't think of any other Canadian government, on any level, that has managed to get the amount of negative press and scandals that this government has in six months.

I'm embarrassed for the people who voted for him as their representative.
