    so i'll be honest, i saw the news about this shooting earlier and was considering posting it on tildes, and then i ended up not doing it because things like this happen so often that this particular shooting bordered on uninteresting and not-especially-newsworthy in my mind, and that therefore there was basically no mileage to be had from posting it. obviously says a lot about the state of american gun violence.
