That's how I feel about some parts of Canada; world-class education system but the transit system is lacking and the currency is so low that US dollars and Euros are getting way more bang for their buck when spent in Canada. It's great for exports sure, but when you're living in a city where the houses are going for millions and wages are stagnating, it doesn't feel great.

As a Dane who's been to the US a couple of times as a tourist, nothing stands out as problematic when you visit. Maybe the lack of public transportation, but that's about it.

However, when you dive a little deeper, there are so many glaring issues that you won't discover when you're simply there for a week or two. I believe that most issues in the US are because of the worship of 150-300 year old laws (sorry I don't know how old it actually is lol, I just know it's old as heck). The US is barely a democracy due to the vast corruption at every stage of the political system. The weapon policies are completely fucked up, sorry to say. Religion has too much sway as well - too many people in the US puts religion above everything else, just like too many people in MENA countries do. Speaking of that area of the world, American military is a necessary evil yes, but it's being overused and I find it problematic that soldiers and the institutions are being held in such high regard.

There are probably tons of other things that I'm not thinking of right now. These are just some observations - don't take them too seriously though :D
