    yang is a really... interesting figure. in general he's like bernie, if bernie were oddly technocratic and in a somewhat more privileged position, and his followers (mostly because of where he's been stumping and what he's been stumping on) at this point are a mixture of anti-idpol people that fall somewhere between left and right libertarians, a few progressives, and people who listen to joe rogan. i'd say he has a decent shot at making the debates at this rate, but he's clearly not going to win when the democratic primary goes to a convention and i'm sure he knows that, so i consider his candidacy more in the vein of a perennial candidate where they run to push issues into the national discourse and not strictly to win.
